Story:

This bottle was purchased from Muarice Freelich's son in 2019 after his father passed. Mr. Freelich worked for Eder Bros in New Jersey for 50 years and began collecting unique spirits during his tenure there; he purchased this bottle directly from the distributor when it arrived. After he passed away, the collection was left to his son. Not knowing what to do with the collection, the son brought several bottles, including this one, to retail liquor store in Kansas City, MO. The store owner purchased the bottle for her own private collection. Louis XIII Brand, Rarest Reserve, Grande Fine Champagne. Carafe with original stopper in very rare Mirrored Box. It is believed that the mirrored box was intended to be used as a display box for a liquor store, but Mr. Freelich purchased this bottle when the shipment arrived. The number 10 is engraved on the bottom of the bottle and the stopper. Bean-shaped label with 'Rarest Reserve' indication. 1938 Royal Banquet Card in English and French. The gorgeous crystal decanter is handmade by the famed Baccarat of France. The stopper is original, and is in the form of an upside down decanter. The bottle and stopper are in near mint condition. The red, white and blue ribbon only shows a tiny bit of fraying on one end. The label shows no sign of wear or tear. The velvet box is in great condition, with only minimal signs of wear that would be expected for it's age. The golden tassel opener is also in excellent condition. The yellow velvet lined cardboard is in good condition, only showing wear around the edge wear the bottle nests. One green ribbon that supports the lid is slightly discolored, but shows no other signs of aging or wear.
