My wife and I received a rare bottle of Courvoisier Cognac - Chateau Limoges Extra as a gift in 1996. This particular year, the Courvoisier Château Limoges, only 6,000 bottles were produced. The renowned porcelain producer, Bernardaud created the unique well-known, cobalt blue porcelain decanter, displayed in its matching, decorated blue and gold, satin-lined box. It contains a Cognac blended only of the best crus of Grand and Petit Champagne. Again, a very limited 6,000 of the Chateau Limoges Extra porcelain decanters were produced in the year1996. The number “8” is inscribed on the decanter of our bottle, making it the 8th bottle produced and bottled off the line that year. This bottle has remained intact, sealed, unopened and stored upright in a dry place. Condition: New, sealed and unopened. Fill level: Into neck Bottle Size: 750 ml This rare, vintage, Cognac would make for an excellent investment and addition to any individual’s private collection. I have attached pics of this amazing, rare Cognac. After almost a quarter of a century of holding onto this rare gem, my wife and I have decided to part with it and hope that it finds the ideal home. If you conduct your due diligence, you will find that for the few bottles that remain around the world today, those that after almost 25 years, remain boxed, unopened and intact, you will note that sales have ranged from USD$550.00 to USD$999.00.

I've always loved Cognac's and have collected unique products over the years. I sampled L'Esprit at a restaurant during a Cognac educational dinner. It is unbelievable! I also have a full collection of Courvoisier Erte. I believe, unfortunately, neither of my children share the same passion as I do; so I am looking for a buyer that can appreciate this unique and wonderful Cognacs.
